Position Overview GI Anesthesiologist opening with Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD. Part-time welcome!
Shifts Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts). No call. No weekends.
Team Lisa Trevan, Chief Anesthesiologist
Responsibilities
Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
Pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
Performance of clinical interventions as needed
Qualifications
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
ECFMG and FLEX
Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
Currently licensed as a physician
Lifestyle Location Hagerstown, MD: Located approximately 70 miles from Baltimore, in Maryland’s north-central region. The town is in Cumberland Valley, between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Allegheny Mountain Range. It offers historical and cultural attractions and a network of parks and recreation.

Total Rewards
Salary: $425K (for part-time, salary will be prorated)
