Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, MN is seeking a board-certified, fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon to join our established practice. This position involves clinical care of patients, a busy surgical practice, and resident and fellow teaching and supervision in the clinics and operating rooms. Candidates should have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. The department has a strong history and tradition in oculofacial plastic surgical care and currently comprises 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. Candidates should be board-certified.

Qualifications

Candidates should be board-certified in Ophthalmology and must be members/candidate members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS).

Compensation Detail

The minimum starting salary for surgical specialties may range from $290,000 to $830,500. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
