Mass Eye & Ear (MEE) is offering a sign-on bonus for new and experienced Surgical Technologists! **We are offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires who accept a full-time offer. The bonus will be paid out $5,000 upon successful completion of 90-days of employment & $5,000 after 12-months of employment from date of hire**

Job Summary
Our Ophthalmology team is determined to give new hires the opportunity to gain clinical knowledge and skills to start/continue a rewarding career in Ophthalmology. A Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing intraoperative care to surgical patients. Successful candidates are eager to learn, motivated, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, are detail oriented and are committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Available Shifts/Locations:
We are currently hiring for our Longwood satellite campus (800 Huntington Ave) – shifts to include full-time/40hrs weekly, 7:00am-5:30pm.
No holidays No weekends No call

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - preferred Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program or have been employed as a surgical technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1st, 2013 or have successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service (MA Senate Bill 2058, December 2012). Graduates who have not obtained their certification will have one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program to obtain their certification.
