The Optometrist (OD) position is performed in a traditional, full-scope office environment and may require local travel, on a same day basis, within MyEyeDr. regions. In this role, you will practice general and medical optometry with a consistent patient base and a focus on high-quality patient care. You will work in a practice equipped with the latest vision care technology and a wide selection of eyewear. You will evaluate patient vision and health care needs, document findings, and discuss current status and future requirements with patients. You will collaborate with the office team to ensure compassionate, personalized patient experiences. Education and Experience Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited institution required. License in good standing to practice Optometry in the state of practice prior to employment required. National Provider Identification (NPI) required. TPA License required. Prior clinical optometry experience in retail, educational, or medical office settings is a plus; all are welcome to apply. Ability to communicate and exchange information, operate necessary equipment, and move about the office. About the role

Using accepted practices, tools and techniques, the Optometrist (OD) evaluates patients’ vision and health care needs, documents findings, and consults with patients about current status and future requirements. The OD works closely with the office team to provide compassionate care and ensure a memorable, high-quality patient experience.
