Clinical responsibilities include:
Outpatient Clinic and Coverage of Infusion Services at Duke Cancer Center and S. Durham Herndon Rd location Inpatient Rounding on Solid Tumor Service
Academic responsibilities include:
Clinical Research Education = teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students in both inpatient settings
Qualifications and Requirements
Board Certification in Oncology required Faculty appointment = Regular rank appointment (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor) commensurate with academic achievement and experience Disease focus = Genitourinary (GU) For S. Durham–based position: Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology required; Clinical responsibilities include outpatient clinic, infusion services at S. Durham Herndon Rd location, and inpatient consultation on Hematology/Oncology Service (staffed by Hospitalists) if working at Duke Regional Hospital Academic responsibilities include Clinical Research and teaching fellows in the outpatient setting Visit Duke Division of Medical Oncology Living in the Triangle: Surrounded by thousands of acres of undeveloped woodlands and gardens, Duke University boasts one of the most beautiful campuses in the world.
