Managing a wide variety of pathologies such as HIV, tuberculosis, zoonoses, infections in immunocompromised hosts (oncology), orthopedics, tick-borne illnesses, endemic mycoses, STDs, HCV, Hep C.
Collaborating with Sanford ID physicians through weekly case conferences.
Optional wound care; Sanford Bemidji has two hyperbaric chambers.
Meeting with infection prevention team bi-monthly.
Providing care at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center, a 118-bed hospital with a 14-bed ICU.
Working in a Level III trauma center serving approximately 27,000 patients annually.
Qualifications should include relevant medical training and experience in infectious diseases. The role involves no call duties and offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, CME allowance, malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and relocation allowance. The annual salary range is $254,608 - $329,493, with potential for additional earnings based on performance.
