Overview

Senior Director, Project Management – Non-Interventional Oversight Team. North America region. Remote in the US. This role provides real-world project delivery expertise to ensure efficient delivery of non-interventional clinical trials, with focus on operational execution, financial negotiations, risk management, and strategic proposal development. The position partners with Therapeutic Unit Heads to align business growth strategies and leads project teams to deliver life-changing therapies. Responsibilities

May manage staff including interviewing, hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development; provide guidance on salary actions, time records, expenses, leave requests, and terminations. Accountable for strategic indication or client-specific portfolio management within a Therapeutic Unit. Serve as senior level or executive client contact and provide guidance on financial forecasting and resource planning where applicable. Act as a champion for organizational changes, offerings, developments and lead workstreams. Navigate complex situations, empowering Project Leads while driving critical thinking, especially around delivery execution, financial negotiations, and prioritization. Provide input on proposal strategy in preparation for bids and bid defenses. Collaborate with Therapeutic Unit Heads to develop and implement business growth strategies. Engage in Con Mod processes as appropriate and support People Manager(s) in developing staff’s client- and indication-specific knowledge. Qualifications

Must Haves

Expertise with Non-Interventional Clinical Trials in a CRO setting in an Oversight Director/Portfolio Lead role. RFP/Bid Defense experience (must be demonstrated in submittal to be considered). Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant formal academic/vocational qualification. Experience

15+ years of experience in related roles (required). 7+ years of management responsibility. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Independent judgment to assess sponsor regulatory needs and produce compliant deliverables. Advanced knowledge of global/regional regulatory requirements and ICH guidelines; experience with regulatory specialties (e.g., preclinical, clinical, CMC, publishing). Strong understanding of medical terminology, statistics, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management. Executive presence with strong coaching, leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence, drive results, and manage risk and escalation effectively. Work Environment
