Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for the Cardiac Surgery inpatient team. This is an opportunity to care for complex surgical patients in a fast-paced, supportive environment while collaborating with surgeons, residents, and a multidisciplinary team. Work Shift:

Exempt What You’ll Do

Provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients in the inpatient setting Perform clinical procedures such as placement/removal of central lines, chest tubes, sutures, and temporary pacing wires under surgeon guidance Manage patient admissions, critical consults, and ongoing post-operative care during night shifts, Night shift differential additional $4.00/hour Complete discharge paperwork, summaries, and communicate with cardiologists/primary care providers as needed Organize patient information and participate in case conferences for surgical planning and follow-up Collaborate closely with surgical teams, residents, and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care What We Offer

Comfort performing clinical procedures and managing acutely ill patients Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Massachusetts license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Experience in an ICU or Cardiac setting BLS certification Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care Additional Information
