Overview

Assistant Store Manager - Spirit role at Spirit Halloween. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager assists in the overall operation of the store to maximize sales/profitability by delivering Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The minimum age requirement is 18 and a flexible schedule is required. The physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. Prior retail management experience is required. Hourly rate ranges from $16.00 - $16.25 per hour and is dependent upon qualifications and experience. Benefits include Set-Up and Tear Down Premium Pay Programs and End of Season Premium Pay Program. All Bonus and Pay Programs are subject to qualifications.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager with staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store.

Support store operations to ensure maximum sales and profitability.

Establish and maintain Guest Services standards.

Develop and coach store staff to achieve performance goals.

Control expenses and shrinkage and manage inventory and merchandising execution.

Qualifications

Prior retail management experience required.

Age 18 or older and flexible schedule.

Ability to stand and walk 8+ hours, climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
