Opening for an anesthesiologist to join the nationally recognized 75-bed ChristianaCare, Union Hospital in Elkton, MD, as a full-time role with North American Partners in Anesthesia.

Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
Provide medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia assessment
Obtain and/or verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor the patient’s physiological condition and intervene as needed
Qualifications
M.D. / D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
ECFMG and FLEX
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
Current physician licensure
Position Details
Location: Elkton, MD (ChristianaCare, Union Hospital)
Shifts: Daily with call (3 calls with post-call day off)
Team/Leadership: Michael Brywka, Chief MD
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Up to $500,000 annually
Sign-on bonus: $50,000
