Anesthesiologist - Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center Role at North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA). Responsibilities
Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient’s physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Qualifications
M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia Currently licensed as a Physician Position Details
Location: Suffolk, VA — Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center (brand-new facility opening May 2025) Case assignments: Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN Shifts: Two weeks on, one week off; schedule provides 17 weeks off per year Team: Leadership by Clavio Ascari, Clinical VP Rewards and Benefits
Base: $460,000 Sign-on incentives: $70,000 Generous benefits package, including: health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Support and payment for mandatory licenses and hospital credentialing Leadership and professional development opportunities About Us
