Demonstrated track record of physician leadership and program growth, with experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives Excellent surgical skills in both cranial and spinal neurosurgery, typically with a 70/30 or 80/20 split depending upon the specific practice needs Develop and implement strategies to expand neurosurgery services, enhance program offerings and increase market share within the Kansas City region Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of neurosurgeons and advanced practice providers Guide initiatives to improve clinical performance, reduce readmission rates and enhance patient experience. Board Certification in neurosurgery 5+ years of clinical experience 2+ years of leading a clinical administrative or academic department OR aptitude for physician leadership Current medical licensure in Missouri and/or Kansas (or ability to obtain) Incentive/Benefits Package

A Comprehensive Stroke Center at RMC, supported by four additional primary stroke centers. Five of our hospitals have not only been certified as accredited stroke centers by The Joint Commission, but also with Missouri's Time Critical Designation (TCD) Access to advanced technology, including True Beam radiosurgery, Stealth Navigation, O-Arm, Kinevo and Pentero microscopes, the Excelcius Globus robot, and the Medtronic cranial robot 24/7 neuro-ICU care for life-threatening neurological conditions Fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeons delivering advanced neurological and neurosurgical care Collaborative treatment models for brain aneurysms and strokes with specialized hospital team Elective advanced surgical hospital with dedicated neurosurgical wing/floor at Menorah Medical Center.
