As a Staff Physician, perform thorough admissions and physical exams, review medical records to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, and regularly review designated consumers' medication profiles. Collaborate with attending psychiatrists to ensure the best possible care. Work Schedule and Information
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This may change based on operational needs. On-call rotation required; possible on-call/on-site rotation available weeknights, weekends, and holidays Overtime and travel as operationally necessary Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Minimum Experience and Training Requirement: Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine. Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medical Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board. Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening. You must pass a background investigation. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
