We are looking to add a Hematology/Oncologist to the Broome Oncology practice in Norwich, NY. The practice is well-established, busy, and the only Oncology provider within a 60-mile radius, with a case load of 22 to 30 patients daily. The role involves diagnosing and treating adult diseases, with referrals sent out as needed. Each location has chemotherapy biotherapy infusion centers and onsite labs. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The position involves practicing 2 days per week in Norwich and 3 days in Johnson City, NY, with a 24/7 on-call rotation and no clinic responsibilities during hospitalist coverage weeks. Qualifications:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology, with excellent clinical, communication, and time management skills, and a commitment to team-oriented care. Compensation and Benefits:
Salary between $435,000 and $550,000, negotiable based on experience. Benefits include five weeks of paid time off, 401K, profit sharing, a defined benefit plan, and a three-year partnership track with buy-in. The area offers excellent schools and affordable living, supporting a good work/life balance.
