Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician (Finance) Welcome to Orlando, with sunny skies and beautiful weather! Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida (PEM) invites BC/BE physicians to consider a career in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at our ten-year-old, academic, free-standing children’s hospital located in Orlando’s Lake Nona Medical City. To support ongoing growth, we are adding another PEM physician to our team, along with additional advanced practice providers. Our team collaborates in a high-volume, academic setting to advance the PEM program.
Responsibilities
Join a Pediatric Emergency Medicine team in a high-volume ED with approximately 40,000 visits expected this year.
Collaborate with a mix of twelve PEM physicians (including a nocturnist and a weekender) and multiple advanced practice providers providing double, triple, and quadruple coverage, plus moonlighters with various subspecialties.
Support and contribute to the hospital’s educational programs, including residency rotations and potential PEM fellowship development.
Participate in clinical care across pediatric emergencies and engage in academic activities to advance the program.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM)
Valid state medical license
