Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor
VCA Bond is seeking a per-diem Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join and lead our veterinary technician team at our AAHA accredited, 4-doctor GP practice in White Plains, NY. Location: 250 Central Ave. White Plains NY 10606. We have been serving the lower Westchester community for over 60 years and are committed to a supportive and collaborative culture that promotes high standards of patient care and client service.

Overview In the supervisor role, you will support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission is to win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience and ensuring high-quality patient care. You have earned credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT) and will apply your knowledge and skills to the team and patients.
Responsibilities
Directing work flow on the floor
Assisting in the educational development of technicians and their skills
Assisting with the interview process for potential new hires
Technician scheduling and staffing coverage
Providing basic protocol and standard procedure training
Creating opportunities for staff to gain more hands-on experience
Mentoring technicians within the department
Working with department doctors to develop protocols to improve service
Ensuring that VCA policies, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all technical staff
Qualifications
Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT or equivalent)
Experience in a veterinary setting, including patient care, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, and client service
Salary The salary range for this position is $28 - $34 / hour.
