A Snapshot of Your Day As Global Logistics Network & Warehouse Manager you are responsible for and will lead the implementation of Siemens Energy’s Warehouse & Logistics strategies, ensuring alignment between business requirements and SE’s strategy. As a member of a distributed team, you ensure sourcing, tendering, and purchasing incl. contract agreement initiatives are successfully implemented. Analyze SE’s transport- and material flow network and Warehouse footprint to derive an optimized network design. Contributes to significant reduction of logistics spent worldwide. Collaborate with business to define and implement HUB concepts and ensure preferred Logistics Service provider (LSP) utilization together with additional corporate cost out initiatives. What You’ll Do Lead the implementation of Siemens Energy’s warehouse & logistics strategies; align with business requirements and SE’s strategic goals. Analyze transport and material flow networks and warehouse footprint to design optimized solutions. Drive sourcing, tendering, and purchasing initiatives, including contract agreements. Collaborate with business units to define HUB concepts and optimize LSP utilization; support cost-reduction initiatives across the organization. This will have a significant impact on the financial results of SE and help optimize organizational processes. How You’ll Make An Impact Create transparency on warehouse footprint and material flow; analyze, identify and derive optimization initiatives in line with SE Global logistics & warehouse strategy; contribute to reduction in logistics spend worldwide in collaboration with businesses. Implement SE Global logistics & warehouse strategy in alignment with internal and external collaborators. Lead frequent coordination with Business, involving senior management from fulfillment across borders and internal BA log partner teams to discuss performance trends and central initiatives. Establish an interface and build strong and sustainable connections between operating units in the Business Areas for North and South America. Maintain good business relations with operating units to understand their needs and support them in collaboration with procurement & strategy. Gather requirements with operating units; define clear and detailed specification documentation to enable proper RFI/RFP processes. Contribute to governance documentation and process descriptions. Establish a center of competence for Warehouse topics in North America + LATAM; identify supply chain risks and opportunities and manage change accordingly. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or equivalent experience preferred. 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or strategic procurement for services (transport, warehouse). Experience in contract negotiation and service contracts; ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment. Legal background desirable. Strong data gathering and analysis skills across multiple sources and formats; ability to organize data effectively. Excellent communication across all levels and diverse cultural environments. Experience with international customs clearance, tax requirements, and various transportation modes; willingness to travel up to 25%. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish skills preferred. Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
