Job Summary Physicians and Dentists provide clinical services to patients consistent with their training and expertise. The care of patients is the highest priority in the WellStar Health System.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Clinical Practice of Medicine, Surgery, or Dentistry including:
The care of patients in Outpatient or Inpatient settings or both.
The documentation of clinical care.
The documentation and tasks necessary for billing and administrative functions.
Continuing Medical Education required to maintain licensure and Board Certification.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
Minimum Education and Licensing Requirements
An MD, DO, DMD, or DDS Degree.
Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia.
Completion of the necessary Residency training for their specialty.
Board Certification or eligibility.
Experience and Skills
Previous practice experience in a Residency Training Program required.
Prior practice experience preferred in lieu of Residency Training.
Applicants should possess skills appropriate to their specialty and demonstrate proof of clinical competency.
