Position Description Summary:

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA), an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University (GWU) and the George Washington Cancer Center (GWCC), is seeking a neurologist or oncologist for a non-tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine and to lead the GWCC’s Neuro-Oncology Multidisciplinary Program. Responsibilities include providing patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and developing a research program. The appointment, starting as early as Fall 2025, will be at the rank of associate or full professor, with a competitive start-up package supporting research. Salary ranges from $200,000 to $400,000.

Providing excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and developing an active research program.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology or medical oncology, fellowship-trained in neuro-oncology, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia. Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research, strong communication skills, and a collaborative attitude are required.

Advertised Salary:

$200,000 to $400,000

The GW Cancer Center, established in 2015, consolidates university resources to expand cancer research and care, partnering with the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine to advance neuro-oncology research and treatment innovations.
