The Opportunity The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologist to lead its Pediatric Anesthesiology section, with an academic appointment as Associate Professor or Professor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic leadership. The Position Section Chief, Pediatric Anesthesiology — Oklahoma City, OK. Start Date: ASAP. The Organization OU Health is Oklahoma’s comprehensive academic health system, including University of Oklahoma Medical Center (the state\'s only Level I trauma center), Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health, Edmond Medical Center, and NIH-designated Stephenson Cancer Center. The program emphasizes multidisciplinary care, cutting-edge research, and advanced surgical techniques to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Ensure safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric patients.

Support faculty development and recruitment; mentor and supervise faculty, residents, and fellows.

Develop clinical protocols and quality initiatives.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.

Contribute to curriculum design and evaluation.

Foster faculty and trainee involvement in research.

Collaborate on institutional research initiatives in pediatric anesthesiology and patient safety.
