The Mammography Technologist will perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures and Mammography.

Primary Duties
Evaluates images for technical quality, provides hard copy records, maintains image archives, ensures proper identification, and prepares, identifies, and/or administers contrast media and/or medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
Obtains patient history, answers questions, explains procedures, provides patient education and postprocedural instructions, positions patients, and ensures safety and comfort during procedures. Performs patient follow-up as required by MQSA/ACR standards.
Verifies informed consent forms, assists licensed practitioners during interventional procedures, transports patients, maintains work areas, and ensures equipment is in proper working order, including performing preventive maintenance and quality control.
Performs quality control as per MQSA and ACR standards, performs radiographic examinations, and completes required documentation and clerical tasks. Provides instruction on equipment operation and technical topics for staff and students.
Requests and orders supplies as necessary.
Qualifications
Certification by the ARRT and licensure by the State of Maryland.
Experience in Mammography and diagnostics.
Associate degree preferred.
This position has a hiring range of $34.98 - $56.85.
