Job overview and responsibilities Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting. Meet with existing and potential customers (physicians and hospital departments) to identify clinical needs and discuss how Vascular products can help achieve goals. Develop relationships with hospital personnel; identify key decision makers. Provide clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations across multiple formats. Attend clinical procedures in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products. Respond to customer needs and complaints; develop feasible solutions with cross-functional teams as needed. Support the broader Region with case support in addition to the defined territory when required. Location and territory This is a field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division, with a focus on the Long Island area. What you’ll work on Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training in hospital settings. Provide clinical education and sales support to help achieve sales goals and increase market share, with emphasis on Vessel Closure.
