HealthTexas Primary Care Doctors was established by local physicians to provide primary care for families in San Antonio and surrounding areas. The organization has grown to include more than 60 healthcare providers across 18 primary care clinics. We emphasize smaller patient panels, fewer patient visits per day, and time to provide thorough, quality care. Physicians typically see 16–20 patients per day and focus on preventive care and chronic disease management. Responsibilities

Provide the full scope of primary care services within their training, including diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, preventive care and health maintenance. Prescribe and manage medications and therapies; administer medications as appropriate. Explain medical procedures and test results to patients and families. Manage and treat common and complex health problems across adolescent, adult, and elderly populations; treat acute illnesses and injuries. Analyze records, test results, and examination information to diagnose medical conditions. Provide long‑term, comprehensive medical care in a clinic setting. Collect and maintain patient information such as medical history and examination results. Supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners). Qualifications

Medical Doctorate (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.). Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine preferred. Medical License in the state of Texas. DEA License and up‑to‑date CPR Certification. Schedule & Work Model

Full‑time position Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday call for your patients; weekend outpatient call 1–2 weekends per calendar year Rotating Saturday clinic, 1–2 Saturdays per year Compensation & Benefits
