Assistant Director of Property Operations - Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hilton San Diego Bayfront is the signature SoCal resort rising above the San Diego Bay, steps from the Gaslamp Quarter and Petco Park. The hotel has 1,190 guest rooms and over 170,000 square feet of elegant indoor and outdoor event spaces. We are looking for an Assistant Director of Property Operations to join the team. Base pay range : $95,000.00/yr - $122,000.00/yr

AM PM Overnight

$95,000 - $122,000

What you will be responsible for

Assist in directing and overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility, including physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, life safety systems and grounds, in accordance with regulations.

Conduct facility inspections and direct the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical and architectural systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Assign, verify and document completion of routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.

Communicate with city/county/state officials to ensure proper permits, required inspections, and full compliance with codes, regulations and safety standards.

Assist in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations.

Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, coaching, evaluations, professional development and recognition.

Recruit, interview and train team members.

Act in the absence of the Director and lead special projects as needed.

What we are looking for

Professional hotel/building maintenance leadership background.

Knowledge of HVAC systems.

Over 3 years of direct hotel knowledge.

What will I be doing?

As Assistant Director of Property Operations, you would assist the Director in overseeing the functionality and safety of the facility to protect the well-being of guests and team members while delivering outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

Direct and oversee the functionality and safety of the facility, including buildings, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety systems and grounds, in accordance with regulations.

Conduct facility inspections and direct maintenance and repair of systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Manage routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system.

Coordinate with local officials to maintain permits, inspections and compliance with codes and safety standards.

Assist in capital projects and property rehabilitations.

Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, coaching and recognition.

Recruit, interview and train team members.
