Austin, TX – USA. Cardiac Anesthesiologist opening at well-established practice in lively Austin, TX. As part of St. David’s HealthCare, St. David’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and is home to the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute. The medical center includes a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital, 24-hour emergency department, and a Bariatric Surgery Center. Our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center. Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department Provide medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitor patient’s physiological condition Perform clinical interventions as needed Qualifications
M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia Currently licensed as a Physician Lifestyle
