The Behavioral Health Center offers comprehensive mental health services, including First Episode Psychosis program, opioid treatment, substance use disorder services, specialized units, inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children, and more. The team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other professionals, providing compassionate, holistic care.

Position Purpose Under supervision, the Attending Psychiatrist will provide coverage for patients in the CPEP, CL service, or inpatient psychiatric units.
Responsibilities
Responsible for clinical and administrative coverage of the psychiatric units.
Conduct physical rounds, determine bed availability, and communicate with the team.
Provide interventions, including medications.
Evaluate patients on observation levels and respond to psychiatric support requests.
Review legal statuses and respond to legal notices as needed.
Document admissions and participate in shift change meetings.
Review and supervise assessments by residents and other staff.
Remain reachable and inform the team of your whereabouts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
