Physician Psychiatrist

who: Provides psychiatric, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to Clinica Sierra Vista patients and offers psychiatric consultation to community members. Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, diagnostic review, and psychopharmacology services for the outpatient clinics. Consult with a multidisciplinary team of Clinica Sierra Vista mental health providers regarding psychiatric aspects of patient care. Confers with consumer relatives/caregivers regarding illness and treatment. Maintain electronic medical records, including medication lists and e-prescribing. Manage and maintain a panel of patients. Adhere to high medical ethics and participate in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs. Comply with state and federal standards of clinical practice. Provide phone-triage/consultation in rare emergent situations after hours. May supervise psychiatric mid-level personnel (e.g., RN, NP, PA) on-site and via telephone for outlying clinic sites. See scheduled appointment and walk-in patients as assigned. Complete various forms for patients and review lab results for patients managed at the health center. Provide prescription refills for patients managed at the health center. Deliver good customer service by introducing oneself, explaining treatment, inviting questions, and outlining follow-up care and referrals. Assist the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in designing, implementing, and evaluating psychiatric health care programs/protocols for patients and staff as needed. Represent Clinica Sierra Vista in professional groups as appropriate. Benefits

Qualified Psychiatrist licensed to practice in the state, with relevant board certification/eligibility as applicable. Experience providing psychiatric care in outpatient settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to maintain accurate medical records and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards. Strong communication and patient-centered care skills. How to apply
