HSHS St. John’s Hospital, a Level II pediatric trauma center, is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join their team. The hospital is a teaching facility affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and offers advanced surgical services. Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department Manage anesthesia for various procedures including pediatrics, ortho, cardiac, OB, and more Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients Monitor physiological conditions and perform interventions as needed Qualifications
M.D./D.O. from an accredited institution Board certification in anesthesiology License to practice medicine in Illinois Completion of an approved anesthesia residency Benefits
Salary up to $600,000 plus pediatric stipend and sign-on bonus Flexible scheduling with light call Generous paid time off and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, and malpractice insurance Retirement plans and professional development opportunities About Springfield, IL
