The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, together with the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include providing both inpatient and outpatient care, predominantly at SRALab, with some inpatient rehabilitation consultations at an affiliated acute care hospital. The role focuses on patients with neurological and medically complex conditions requiring rehabilitation, and some musculoskeletal care. The position involves clinical quality, safety, outcomes and patient satisfaction; advancing a scientific approach to patient care; participating in Hospital and Department Committee work; and engaging in research and medical education activities, including teaching medical students and residents and fellows. Responsibilities include: Provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation care, primarily at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and inpatient consultations at an affiliated acute care hospital. Maintain clinical quality, safety, outcomes, and patient satisfaction. Advocate for a scientific approach to patient care delivery. Participate in assigned Hospital and Department Committee work. Engage in research and medical education activities, including teaching medical students, residents and fellows. Qualifications

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois. Successfully completed an accredited residency program in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Board certified or Board eligible. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, families, referring parties, hospital executives, treatment team members and staff. Strong analytical skills to communicate effectively. Compensation and Benefits

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. The expected base pay range is
