CMO/Medical Director Opportunity - Northeast
Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) / Medical Director to oversee psychiatric services at a standalone Behavioral Health facility in the Northeast region. This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Oversee inpatient, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for child and adolescent as well as adult populations. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and UHS policies. Participate in strategic planning and development of new programs and services. Qualifications
MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified in Psychiatry; Child & Adolescent Psychiatry certification is a plus. Active medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state where the facility is located. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry. Previous leadership experience in a psychiatric setting, with inpatient oversight preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Compensation & Benefits
