Job Opportunity: Physician - Urology in Brattleboro, VT
Join a community-focused, not-for-profit hospital located in scenic southern Vermont as a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible General Urologist. Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settings.
- Collaborate with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner in a single-site practice.
- Perform surgical procedures in state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation with a 1:4 call schedule, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month.
- Manage an average of patients per day in a full-time schedule.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records.
- Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Open to new graduates and candidates with lapsed board certification (if willing to recertify).
- Not open to long-distance commuters or alternative shift arrangements.
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
- Active Vermont license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Must have passed the certification exam administered by the American Board of Urology.
- DEA license.
- BLS certification.
