UCHealth Parkview Medical Center is seeking a full-time Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of our expanding gastroenterology group in beautiful Pueblo, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a high-volume, high-producing team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat a diverse range of gastrointestinal conditions, emphasizing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Perform advanced ERCP procedures using state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment for complex gastrointestinal disorders.
- Collaborate with a team of five gastroenterologists and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in a shared on-call rotation, providing weekend coverage as needed to ensure continuous patient care.
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system for efficient documentation and communication to enhance treatment accuracy.
- Contribute to a dynamic and productive gastroenterology practice handling a diverse caseload.
- Embrace innovative, evidence-based practices that reflect UCHealth s commitment to world-class care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and CME opportunities in a physician-led team environment.
- Support provided for visa candidates.
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Active Colorado License or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with ERCP procedures is highly preferred.
- Current COVID vaccination.
- Eligible for J1 or H1B visa sponsorship.
- DEA certification must be obtained prior to starting.
- Current COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to acquire).
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology is required.
- DEA registration to be completed before the commencement of duty.
