Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to work OBGYN locum call shifts in Garden City, Kansas (KS) . Starting potentially in 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
- Location: Garden City, KS
- Shift Types: Clinic and Inpatient Call
Coverage Dates Needed:
Privileged Providers Only:
- October 6-14
- October 29-31
New Candidates & Privileged Providers:
- 2026
- April 1-5
- April 11-14
- April 22-26
- May 11-14
- May 19-31
- June 11-14
- June 16-30
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
- Call Type: Call-back only - provider is only required to come in if a patient needs to be seen or managed
- Clinic: Weekday clinic duties include:
- New and established obstetrics visits
- Gynecology consultations
- Surgical consults
- Surgical blocks twice weekly for non-emergent procedures
- Required procedures include:
- Cesarean sections (minimum 5 in past 24 months)
- Hysterectomies (minimum 5 in past 24 months)
- Deliveries (minimum 50 in past 24 months)
Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:
KS state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
Board certified-OBGYN or Truly Board eligible (within 5 yrs of residency)
Active BLS & DEA
Must submit procedure logs with presentations
Must be available to cover any of the dates listed.
