As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems are executed to the highest standards. Position Summary: Under general supervision, you will perform comprehensive journeyman-level electrician duties, including: Installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, equipment, and electrical distribution systems. Rough-in and finished electrical installations. Testing and maintenance of various electrical components such as wiring, motors, relays, controls, pumps, fans, heaters, and lighting. Primary Responsibilities: Supervision and mentorship of apprentices and helpers. Monitoring work progress. Handling all types of wire terminations. Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing electrical conduit. Pulling wire through conduit. Adhering to and instructing others on proper safety protocols. Traits and Competencies: Strong knowledge of all phases of building construction and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints and specifications. Experience supervising or leading a team of up to 5 individuals. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in building construction, remodeling, or project coordination. In-depth knowledge of circuitry and various voltages (120, 208, 240, 277, 480). Familiarity with underground duct bank and wiring installations. Ability to pass state and local electrical licensing examinations. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to electrical systems. Capability to read and comprehend construction documentation. Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, including standing, bending, reaching, lifting, climbing ladders, and working from scaffolding and lifts. You should be able to: Lift repetitively up to 50 pounds. Drive a company vehicle for up to 14 hours between job sites. Perform manual labor as required. Why Join Us?
