Regional Class A Tanker Operator

to join our dedicated team. This position involves operating routes that span from East Chicago, IN throughout the Midwest, averaging 2300 miles each week. Expect to be out approximately 3-5 nights weekly, with hourly pay set at $27.00 for 50-65 hours of work weekly. About the role: Drivers typically earn between $90,000 and $120,000 annually Available sign-on bonus of $7,500 Opportunity for weekly home time Compensation includes hourly wages (covering all on-duty non-driving time) along with mileage pay Why choose Clean Harbors? Health and Safety are our top priorities, upheld every day Comprehensive health benefits are available after 30 days of full-time employment 401K plan with a company matching component Participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Paid time off, company-sponsored training, and tuition reimbursement offered Supportive and secure work environment RESPONSIBILITIES Promote health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and processes while behaving safely at all times Operate tractor-trailer tanker units efficiently Ensure compliance with weight regulations and proper resource utilization Supervise the safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper load security Properly placard vehicles following Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations Maintain thorough daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch reports, trip reports, and vehicle inspection records QUALIFICATIONS Possession of a Class A CDL 12+ months of driving experience with a Class A license 3+ months of tanker driving experience HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required Ability to work at heights Ability to lift and carry loads greater than 50 pounds Proficient in using required technology, including mobile applications and computer software For more information about driver career opportunities, please contact us.
