Overview
Provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. Provides in-basket support with the EMR.

Days Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required Prior Healthcare experience preferred Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (i.e. BLS) Completes all Organizational, Department of Nursing and Department-Specific competency training/requirements within specified timeframe
