Job description\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to conduct services and repairs on domestic gas appliances within social housing in Northampton. You will enjoy the convenience of a company van and fuel card, and benefit from a supportive work environment that values excellence and professional growth.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Service and repair domestic gas appliances and boilers\n\n * Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation\n\n * Maintain and monitor the supply, stock, and use of materials\n\n * Participate in an ‘out of hours’ call out rota (every 1 in 4 weeks)\n\n * Act as a liaison between and internal teams to promptly resolve any property-related issues\n\n * Report any non-compliance or process failures to management\n\nSkills and Experience Required:\n\n * Previous experience as a gas engineer (minumum of 5 years)\n\n * Excellent customer service skills\n\n * Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1 and CENWAT\n\n * Experience in social housing (minimum of 3 years)\n\nIf you are a skilled Gas Engineer looking for a role that combines professional development with quality service delivery, we would love to hear from you.
