Clinical Manager

The Clinical Manager coordinates and oversees all direct care patient services provided by clinical personnel. Responsibilities include: Developing, planning, implementing, analyzing, and organizing clinical operations. Conducting/delegating patient assessments and care plan updates. Managing the assignment of caregivers. Overseeing the delivery of care to all patients served by the location. Instructing and guiding clinicians to promote effective performance. Monitoring cases to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Coordinating communication between team members and physicians. Working with the Branch Director and Finance Department to establish revenue and budget goals. Participating in sales and marketing initiatives. Supervising clinical employees and handling employee corrective actions. Participating in the interviewing, hiring, training, and development of clinicians. Assessing staff education needs and conducting regular staff education. Analyzing situations and identifying problems to improve performance. Reviewing clinical staff documentation for appropriateness. Responsible for QA/PI activities and performance review. Providing direct patient care on an infrequent basis. Acting as Branch Director in his/her absence. Ensuring compliance with external regulatory authorities. Maintaining relationships with referral/community sources. Performing other related duties as assigned. Required Experience/Skills: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current state license as a Registered Nurse. Proof of current CPR. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Two years as a Registered Nurse with at least one-year of management experience in a home care, hospice, or equivalent environment. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: $77,200 - $106,200 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
