Expatriate Management Specialist
This role is responsible for assisting with performing HR-related duties in expatriate business and facilitating daily process, conducting HR-related duties and communicate directly with expatriates at all levels to provide necessary service and cultural support in various manners, managing and maintaining expatriates' information database, recruiting and onboarding expatriates, monitoring in-time information on their legal status as well as support in their adaptation to U.S. culture, life and work environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Expatriate Management Monitor and implement expatriate management programs, including recruiting, on boarding, promotion, transferring and returning Review and update all Expatriate Management related policies and procedures, formalize the practice of expatriate management by standardizing and executing policies and procedures, under guidance of the Head Office's (HO) corresponding policies and regulations Analyze and evaluate the Bank's expatriate turnovers and demands Facilitate and coordinate the Bank's events that require expatriates' participation, including training, mentoring program, recruiting new expatriates, etc. Calculate and adjust Expatriates' salary and compensation upon initial arrival and position adjustments Monitor and ensure the maintenance of expatriates' legal status in the U.S., and assist expatriates with all applications, extensions or renewals for passports, visas, etc. Liaise with HO, maintain the HR-related systems to support expatriate management related projects Write business reports such as meeting minutes, operational manuals, proposals and responsible for the maintaining data and records in the projects Carry out professional communication throughout the expatriate management projects with other branches within the company globally Incorporate the policies from HO with reality and implement them in adherence to local regulations and compliance, including BOCUSA Risk Governance Framework and Risk Appetite Statement Staff Information Management Compile and update monthly Major Event report Review the monthly staff list and prepare quarterly report for Head Office Ad-hoc Project Participate and/or manage ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in HR Management or related areas preferred. Internship experience in HR related work preferred. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, relationship management skills, time management and organizational skills are needed for this position. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suites, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required. Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin highly preferred. Pay Range: USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
