Contract If Contract to Hire, what is the target salary range for full time position? none Description: Hands on Patient Care What are the top responsibilities for this position? (Please be as detailed as possible as to what tasks will be conducted on a daily basis): Deliver high-quality patient care through face-to-face, telephone, and electronic contact for examination, treatment, monitoring, and preparation for diagnostic tests or procedures. Collect and document patient information, including vital signs, chief complaint, review of medications, allergies, health risk screen information, the status of extended care benefits, and other services. Assist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures as directed. Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards, and policies. Assist with tasks, phone calls, and messages; document all actions taken. Proper, concise, and complete EMR documentation and paper-based documentation for all assessments and procedures. Prepare and clean patient rooms and set up instruments and equipment according to protocol while maintaining infection control. Must have qualifications/experience: 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart? Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience Epic preferred Bilingual English and Spanish Type of certification required: High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience Certified Medical Assistant program Shift start & end times: Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Work days per week: 5 days per week Dress code/scrub color: Navy blue scrubs Full address(es) where work will take place: 145 Thunder Drive Vista, Ca 92083 Travel questions: Is travel required for this role?
