Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing key areas such as material planning, scheduling, and procurement activities to support our U.S. Government customer requirements while meeting company objectives. The Manager will develop and improve processes and provide direct support to the leadership team by offering data analytics, planning, and reporting to support the mission and values of the organization. This role requires a high level of collaboration with internal teams, subsidiaries, and external vendors to maintain Operational Excellence and vendor relations. Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including supplier identification, qualification, and procurement management. Manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with performance standards and contracts. Create and manage purchase orders using NetSuite ERP. Collaborate with internal teams to understand sourcing needs and align procurement strategies. Work cross-functionally with Engineering, BD, Programs, Quality, and Operations to support MRP schedules and resolve supply issues. Evaluate supplier bids and make purchasing decisions based on cost, quality, and value. Define purchasing strategies and timelines. Streamline internal and external ordering systems. Monitor inventory levels and maintain ERP accuracy. Minimize excess and obsolete inventory while meeting demand. Ensure accurate material consumption for work orders and sales fulfillment. Establish purchasing policies and procedures. Maintain accurate cost and financial data for analysis. Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and track performance metrics and mentor Buyers to strengthen the Supply Chain team. Communicate effectively across teams and with external partners. Essential Skills Supply chain management Procurement ERP AS9100 Experience in Management or leadership role, specific to supply chain/purchasing required Experience building purchasing systems and processes ERP/MRP implementation Additional Skills & Qualifications 6+ years in supply chain/purchasing leadership Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field (preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office; NetSuite experience is a plus Strong analytical skills for inventory, cost, and demand planning Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience in Aerospace & Defense, preferably in AS9100-certified settings U.S. citizenship and background check required Work Environment Work in a fast-growing company that offers great compensation. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Moorpark, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $165,000.00/yr.
