Contract Manager

The Contract Manager is responsible for supporting the facilitation and coordination of all contracts related to Energy as a Service business development. They are assisting the Associate General Counsel in managing complex energy project and finance transactions through the entire pre-contract, contract closing, and post-closing phases. Responsibilities

Supports the creation and revision of template documents for different types of real estate, construction, and finance transactions. Performs guided tax, licensing, procurement, finance, and real estate legal research for project locations. Implements and manages a new Company data room application to include administration and uploading. Supports all contract closing and post-closing activities, including document revisions and signature coordination. Supports the review of all affiliate company contracts and values prior to the financial close to streamline downstream contract buyout. Supports the management of all agent contracts, invoices, payment approval, and terminations. Supports the creation of Project Legal Summaries and ensure that they contain all relevant legal information per project. Fulfills MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) requests from developers by researching legal entity counter parties and ensuring accuracy in the MOU's. Supports the drafting and information insertion into agency agreements, teaming agreements, and confidentiality agreements. Organizes, updates, and maintains the Egnyte databases concerning MOU's, agency agreements, teaming agreements, and other project contract documents. Retrieves documents and distributes as requested from internal clients. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Construction, or a related field. 5+ years experience managing contracts in construction, real estate, engineering or similar industry. Demonstrates a solid understanding of basic contract law principles and terminology. Exhibits deep analysis and strong attention to detail. Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines. Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with legal, business, finance, and technical professionals. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors. Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary. Experience with database software. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Climbing stairs. Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Quiet environment. Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds. 10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location. Pay Range

USD $76,860.00 - USD $102,620.00 /Yr.
