This role encompasses hands-on and classroom training for new hires and those needing make ups. Night Shift: 7p-7a, following a 2-2-3 schedule Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct hands-on and classroom training for new hires and make up trainings. Oversee and manage training checklists for trainees. Learn to perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Assist in the production process, mastering various tasks. Support document control and data entry. Become fully trained in all departments. Other Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Utilize personal protective equipment at all times. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and the Master Sanitation Schedule. Enforce safety protocols: stop unsafe acts and report safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. This list of duties is not exhaustive and may be expanded as management sees fit. Education & Experience Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a food safety/manufacturing environment. Experience in training. Skills Required: Effective verbal and written communication with managers and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills for inputting and retrieving information. Fundamental math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Proficient at following instructions, completing checklists, and required documentation. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Problem-solving skills driven by knowledge and experience. Maintain a professional demeanor to foster constructive working relationships. Location:
Our Little Chute, WI facility is home to around 95 employees and specializes in manufacturing IQF sticks for the appetizer industry. Adjacent to the plant is Simon's Specialty Cheese store, which has about 20 employees and features a wide range of Wisconsin-themed products.
