Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in driving data analytics initiatives, translating complex business requirements into actionable insights, and leading projects that enhance organizational decision-making. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a passion for leveraging data to solve real-world business problems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead data analytics projects from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to identify opportunities for applying data analytics solutions to business challenges.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Ensure data integrity by coordinating with business process owners and implementing robust validation and mapping processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other analysts, fostering best practices in data analytics and governance.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting to address complex data-related issues.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into effective data analytics solutions, leveraging tools and methodologies to deliver optimal results.
• Lead discussions and presentations to medium-sized groups, building credibility and rapport within the organization.
• Drive data migration and transformation efforts, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business processes.
• Apply expertise in relational database and data modeling concepts to support analytics initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in data analytics or related roles, demonstrating attention to detail.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP, including scripting and creating views and tables for dashboards.
• Proficiency in SQL queries and relational database concepts, along with experience in data transformation and cleansing.
• Skilled in business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, with the ability to create advanced dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including documentation, definitions, sources, and lineage.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end data analytics projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive results.
