Constituent Service Representative
The Oklahoma Office of the Attorney General is currently seeking a full-time Constituent Services Representative for our Constituent Services Unit. The OAG's Constituent Services Unit is responsible for daily interaction with the citizens of Oklahoma. We address the questions, concerns, issues, and complaints of Oklahoma citizens, and try to resolve them to the best of our ability. Constituent Services also handles official Citizen Complaints lodged against either a person, an agency or business, or both. We can be contacted by the public though phone, mail, or email. Because of the wide scope of possible topics discussed with citizens, we interact with nearly every division in the agency. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Respond to constituent inquiries and maintains constituent accounts according to specific guidelines and procedures. Enter information into databases, process letters to constituents, and perform other general clerical services. Perform accurate and timely data entry of constituent correspondence. Review and route mail and other correspondence. Communicate with the public. Maintain a positive, customer-service attitude and possess the ability to consistently exercise tact and courtesy. Demonstrate interpersonal effectiveness while communicating with various internal and external constituencies. Maintain knowledge of current events involving the Attorney General. Utilize contracted technologies to record communications with and from the public. Maintain an appropriate level of discretion when presented with confidential information. Assist in Open Records requests. Qualifications: Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro. All applicants must agree in writing to complete, and satisfactorily pass, a background investigation.
