Project Supervisor
As a Project Supervisor, you partner with leadership to understand, evaluate, develop, and execute scopes of work. From soliciting and approving proposals from subcontractors to creating project schedules, your attention to detail ensures successful project execution. You manage, support, and assist crews by working together with management to overcome challenges. As the go-to person, you step in as needed, even getting your hands dirty when additional responsibilities arise. Your organizational skills shine as you maintain meticulous job activity paperwork and inventories. You provide accurate reports and documentation by keeping a daily log of conditions, activities, and communications. While following and enforcing all Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures, you conduct daily job site safety meetings and ensure work meets industry and company standards. You maintain change orders and proactively monitor project budgets, profit margins, and project schedules, allowing you to provide updates and address any risk of a project not meeting targets in advance. Your ability to respond 24/7 and maintain accurate records will be crucial in ensuring seamless operations. You and the crew provide a positive experience to clients during their time of need, and your hard work provides reassurance that First Onsite is the only restoration partner they'll ever need. Responsibilities: Overall management of the Project Solicit, receive, and approve proposals from subcontractors to perform work within budget Prepares project schedule, including job crew and subcontractors' schedule, according to the scope of work Fill in as needed when additional responsibilities/tasks need to be completed, including physical labor Create and maintain job activity paperwork and jobsite inventories Maintain a daily log of conditions, activities, communications, and notable events Prepare reports, documentation, and other job-related administrative documents Proactively monitor and provide updates when there is a risk of a project not meeting expected budget, gross profit margin, or schedule Manage receipt and approval of change orders Accurately maintain daily reports, daily sign-in timesheets, equipment records, and moisture maps, and material sheets Responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance - cleaned, stocked, and ready for response Manage a defined scope of work and report any change order work or increase to that scope of work On-call hourly position with no guarantee on the number of hours worked Ability to respond 24/7 Experience & Education: Basic ability to read and understand Xactimate scopes Intermediate problem-solving capabilities and basic knowledge of budgeting and cost control Demonstrated ability to motivate and supervise staff, both employees and contractors Demonstrated ability to manage, schedule, and organize all aspects of a project from materials handling to completion Basic industry training with a minimum of 4 current certifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license required
