Located in the heart of Saginaw, Michigan, our oncology and hematology department is searching for two dedicated physicians to enhance our outstanding team. As a regional referral center, we are at the forefront of cancer treatment, equipped with cutting-edge technology and a compassionate staff. Job Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive Medical Oncology and Hematology care, primarily outpatient focused (80%) with some inpatient duties (20%). See a patient census of approximately 25 outpatient patients per clinic, while managing a varying inpatient volume. Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of 3 Medical Oncologists and 1 Hematologist, ensuring cohesive patient care. Engage in peer consultations with MD Andersen for optimal patient management. Participate in academic activities, contributing to the training of medical students and residents. Implement cutting-edge cancer therapies and technology, including the Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator and Brachytherapy. Travel occasionally to satellite clinics as needed for support. Maintain high patient satisfaction and clinical excellence, as evidenced by our recognition for quality care. Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology. Active Michigan Medical License (or willingness to obtain). DEA registration required prior to starting. CSR/CDS registration required prior to starting. License and Certification Requirements:
