ProSidian seeks an Operations Support Specialist - Integration Management (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy. This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and ProSidian team members (# FTe's: 1) work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30085) to fulfill T&M - Time and Materials (T&M) requirements. The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist IM 106 is a Professional Grade position. Operations Support Specialist - Integration Management candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services - Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and Provide support and mentor Maintenance First Line Managers specifically with major mechanical tank-intrusive evolutions and PBI milestone activities. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Specialist include, but are not limited to: Scope development and the preparation of the work activities. Mentoring existing Maintenance First Line Managers. Ensuring Task Readiness. Ensures schedules are logically correct and has included the applicable Work Package approvals, Pre-Job Briefing(s), Lockout(s)/Tagout(s), LCOs, and Post Maintenance Tests (PMTs). Meet with the Work Window Coordinator/Operations/Engineering/Maintenance personnel to review, evaluate and resolve maintenance schedule impacts. Reviews and approves work packages, lockouts, procedures, etc. Interfaces with Engineering, RCO and other support groups to ensure adequate support for field activities. Evaluate and improve individual mechanic performance. Qualifications
The Operations Support Specialist - Integration Management shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined. Three (3) years experience in maintenance, plant engineering, or nuclear plant operations with a B.S. degree in engineering, or related physical science; OR Seven (7) years experience in maintenance, plant engineering, or nuclear plant operations with an AAS degree in engineering or related physical science; OR Ten (10) years experience in maintenance, plant engineering, or nuclear plant operations and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Maintenance supervision/management in DOE Nuclear facility. Practical knowledge of nuclear maintenance and operations Familiarity of the development, review and issuance of work control packages using technical reference documents to ensure maintenance work is task ready. Experience in the development of schedules and manpower planning. Experience in managing facility maintenance resources to ensure work scope is completed and schedules are met. Interpersonal skills so as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers Demonstrated knowledge of DOE, SRR, and SRS operating policies, rules, and regulations preferred. Experience with Asset Suite and Microsoft Word is required. A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. SRR utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and a 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has an unpaid 30-minute lunch. Standard Facilities Access required but a security clearance is not currently required for this position.
