Job Description
The Clinical Manager provides direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24-hour accountability. Participates in the development and management of the budget. Education: Bachelor's Nursing (BSN) required within three years of hire. Experience: Minimum (5) years of staff nurse experience with progressive clinical management skills required. Certification & Licensure: Registered Nurse license in Virginia is required. BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation. National certification by specialty organization is required within two years of hire. Qualifications: Demonstrates leadership skills by functioning as resource/charge nurse for a minimum of one year. Knowledgeable in the cognitive, physical, emotional, and chronological stages of human growth and development. Demonstrates knowledge and skills in planning, implementation, and managing. Benefits
