Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in San Tan Valley, Arizona. The role involves providing comprehensive critical care to patients in the ICU, with competitive pay, benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing techniques
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses; notify providers of changes
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Document in the medical record accurately and timely
• Provide education to patients and families about the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in CC procedures and technologies through ongoing education
• Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU outcomes and efficiency
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
